The Didsbury Calendar

How it came about

The Didsbury Civic Society first produced a calendar for 2004 in order to raise funds for Francis House, one of Didsbury's best known charities. The Society saw this as a way of making local people more aware of the aims and objectives of the Civic Society and its role in the community.

Each year the calendar has a different theme, all based on some aspect of Didsbury. When first produced the calendar was an instant success and is now an established as a regular publication.

It is only with the support and sponsorship of local businesses that we are able to produce this calendar. This enables the calendar to set a standard of production that matches or exceeds many publications that are sold at a higher price.
